Site Description
Within walking distance of the Lincoln homestead, the 1,747-acre Lincoln State Park features 10 miles of hiking trails through the region where Abraham Lincoln spent his youth. Among the Lincoln-era sites is the home of Col. William Jones, the merchant employer of young Abraham Lincoln. The outdoor amphitheater is expected to recommence the annual "Young Abe Lincoln" summer production for the 2008 season.
