Site Description
Surrounding the national cemetery, this regional park preserves the site of the Battle of Ball's Bluff, on October 21, 1861, the largest Civil War engagement to take place in Loudon County. Hiking the trails and interpretive signs aid in the understanding of this important and tragic part of American history.
